Zoning Code Community Open Houses

Community Open Houses were held to receive public input and answer questions on the New Zoning Code in an informal setting. Planning Commission Study Sessions were held immediately following the Open Houses.

The next Planning Commission Study Session will be held on June 15, 2020 with the release of the Draft Zoning Map. More information to come……

The “rescheduled” Planning Commission Study Session featuring Non-residential districts (mixed-use, commercial, office medical, industrial, public facilities) was held on May 18, 2020. The Planning Commission was generally in agreement with the regulations proposed for the non-residential districts.

4th Community Open House and Planning Commission Study Session Featuring Module 3 – Citywide Standards was held on Monday, October 7, 2019.

5th Community Open House and Planning Commission Study Session Featuring Module 3 – Citywide Standards, Report B was held on Monday, November 4, 2019.

The Planning Commission also held a second Study Session on November 18, 2019.  

The City did not host a Community Open House for Module 4 Administrative Procedures and Permits; however, a Study Session with the Planning Commission was held on December 16, 2019.
